Making a heart..... My Way!
Wrap glass around mandrel to form a cylinder
I always add my glass in spirals around the cone, when I'm using opaque glass, because the way
the glass is laid down will be visible in the final product! Marver glass to make a cone
Keep adding glass, maintaining the cone shape

Push lip towards bottom of cylinder holding mandrel at about 30 degree angle, front and back,
(of heart) Roll gently to flatten heart.... Cone shape should now be fairly flat!
I push the edges/sides of the heart gently towards the top of the heart on the edge of the marver
Burn off the tool marks.
Using knife cut in lines on either side at the top
Hold "heart" upside down in the flame to shape using gravity, spin heart still upside down to
set and cool.
Admire finished heart and place in kiln to anneal
Hope this works for you...
